As part of WP4 (Pilot Implementation in Ukraine, supported by European front-runners) and WP6 (Capacity Building and Localised Knowledge Mobilisation in Ukraine) of the EU-funded U_CAN project, our team held a productive meeting with representatives of the Kyiv City Administration to support them during an interview with Katinka Bundgård Fals from Aarhus University (https://www.au.dk/).
The interview focused on current challenges and opportunities related to climate neutrality in Kyiv, including:
- pressing environmental needs of the city,
- existing initiatives and pilot projects,
- adopted policies and legal frameworks for climate action.

Following the interview, we explored the opportunity to involve Kyiv in the upcoming NetZero Cities Twinning Call. We are pleased to share that the City Administration expressed strong interest and is ready to collaborate with us in this initiative.
